We are called to serve one another

Hi Prayer Closet Warriors!

The day I met Destiny Thomas, it was at her PFP Live Retreat she was hosting in April 2022, in Virginia Beach, VA… For Free! Of course, this was nothing but Gods doing. I originally entered into a contest to join that retreat, but someone else won. I thought it wasn’t meant for me to go on this retreat because I didn’t win, but God surprised me.

I went full of excitement and a-little nervous… I didn’t know what I was walking into, but I trusted God. Let me tell you, that retreat was everything I needed at that time.

One thing that caught my attention was how Destiny’s team catered to her and how she catered to them. I thought to myself, “Wow, they must be really good friends.” God said, “It’s called serving, Natasha.”

Do you remember when Jesus washed his disciples’ feet? It’s in John 13:1-17. Washing people’s feet when they first entered into someone’s home was actually the role of a house servant/ slave, and Jesus took the role upon Himself.

Prayer warriors, we are called to serve one another, just as Jesus displayed while here on earth.

When we were in Dubai this summer, one thing I was more than happy to do was serve my fellow sisters by ironing their clothes, and I don’t even like to iron. Let me say that one more time for the people in the back… I, NATASHA, DO NOT LIKE TO IRON!!!! lol but, I was willing to iron EVERYONE’S outfit if they needed me too. It felt good!

This is where God tested me. Ok daughter, I see you are willing to serve when you’re happy but, can you do it for someone who has hurt you? in my head, I was saying, “Where’s that fish that swallowed up Jonah? I’m going to hop in for a few days, Lord.” LOL. It has helped me because in some cases I realized I was still hold onto unforgiveness.

When Jesus walked the earth, he still served, even knowing what his end result would be.

So let me ask you this, “are you ready for the change? Are you willing to go to God and learn how to serve like he did? Can you let go of the pain that people caused you, and love them like Jesus does?”

Now, please don’t try to do this before talking to Abba about the inner wounds you have, if any. Go to him and ask him to reveal what they are, He will show you and walk you through them

Let forgiveness take place
