Hello Prayer Closet warriors!!!!
Prepare to be sick of me lol! My testimonial blog post will keep coming! God will be glorified in ALL things!
1 Chronicles 16:23-29
“Let the whole earth sing to the Lord! Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods. The gods of other nations are mere idols, but the Lord made the heavens! Honor and majesty surround him; strength and joy fill his dwelling. O nations of the world, recognize the Lord, recognize that the Lord is glorious and strong. Give to the Lord the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his presence. Worship the Lord in all his holy splendor. Let all the earth tremble before him. The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice! Tell all the nations, “The Lord reigns!”
Do you have dreams and wonder if they may be from God? Some of them are! How often do you ask God about the dreams & visions you have? From here on out, bring every dream or vision to him. Journal, Journal, Journal!! write it all down…even the scary ones. God uses dreams and visions to help shape your life. He’ll give you warnings, direction and protection in them.
In one dream I had back in December, I was a teacher in a daycare setting. It was breakfast time and I was preparing to feed the children cereal & milk, it was mushy. I ate along with them, however; when I brought the food to my mouth to eat, it turned solid, into fruit. When we finished breakfast we went into the playroom, which was a gymnasium. I saw large basketball players and I remember saying, “they look like giants” and the feeling of fear came over me.
I woke up and immediately grabbed my journal, writing down everything I could remember. I began to interpret what I thought it could mean. Seeing myself as a daycare teacher feeding babies represented feeding women and or men who are babes in Christ. My food changing into solids (fruit) was God letting me know I am no longer a babe in Christ and mush will no longer sustain me. The larger basketball players means giants in the field. Then, I ask God, “Good Morning Abba, I had a strange dream…what does this mean? Is my interpretation right? Can you please give me clarity, direction and confirmation?”
The first confirmation I received was through scripture. I was led to 1 Samuel 17, the story of David and Goliath. You should read it if you’re not familiar with the story. After that, He slowly unraveled more and more.
Oh yeah, side note prayer warriors, don’t be out here all willy-nilly telling people about your dreams and visions. God gave them to YOU for a reason. Unless he leads you to share, keep it between you and God! Don’t share it with your husband, wife, children, friends, cat, dog or goldfish lol. He’ll let you know when and who to share it with.
Fast forward to February 5, 2023, As I was dancing around in my kitchen worshiping, I heard His voice. I quickly ran, grabbed my journal, a pen, and sat still. He said, “Tasha, host your first workshop, April 15. Start preparing now. I’ll make a way for you to have all that you need. Teach Tash, I promise I will be with you. There’s no need to worry or be afraid, Focus on me.” He also gave me the location, number of people who would attend and what to title the workshop, “She went back to her closet.”
Yes, I had some doubts. I was worried about failing, and questioned if this space was for me. I was being insanely fearful, somewhat prideful and wasn’t trusting God completely. I was coming against the woman God is calling me to be. The only way to defeat those negative thoughts, I had to go forth; even if it was intended for just ONE person to show up in the room– that one person was enough. So, I did.
Habakkuk 2:2-3
“Then the Lord said to me," Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.”
I made my list and wrote out everything I wanted for the workshop. Calculated a budget, wrote down my expectations and surrendered fear. Then, I let God show me what I needed and what His plan was. Can I tell y’all how exciting it was to plan this with God!! God showed me, as He has over and over again, that His plan always exceeded my expectations.
On March 21, I was sitting up contemplating purchasing these gift bags I saw on Amazon. Literally clicking back and forth on the browser. Place them in and out of my Amazon cart.
I heard Abba say, “Get them” Me: “Are you sure?”
Him: “Yes” … So, I made the purchase. The next morning, I woke up to an alert on my phone. Someone made a sweater purchase on my website. Not only replacing what I just spent but, I got back double!!!!!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾 If y’all didn’t jump after reading that, baby I did!! He reminded me I don’t have to worry about the money, I don’t need to overcompensate, the donations will come, he’ll make a way for everything to be done. God is faithful & he keeps his promises.
The women who attended that day all confirmed that this was definitely a move from God. A safe space they needed to be in. We all shared our testimonies, laughed, cried, prayed and rejoiced. The Holy Spirit’s presence was felt the entire time and I am so grateful.

Do you see how we can help each other when we’re vulnerable and transparent? When we push past fear and give God control. Lean in and let him lead, prayer closet warriors, He has you!
