Hello, Prayer Closet Warriors!!
Welp, what happened this week was surely needed!!
The Realizing Destiny Ministry hosted a weeklong webinar this week about “How To Steward Your Promise Land” and I can’t speak for anyone else, but for me it was right on time!
In the beginning of November, God confirmed to me that I was in my Promise Land. Of course, I was excited to hear that news; walking through the wilderness season had some challenging moments! When I heard Him say, “You’re in your Promise Land”, I translated that into “Ok Tasha, now you can kick back and relax!” Boy, was I wrong! It was repeated by everyone on the panel this week that you still have work to do. The enemy is not out here taking lunch breaks.
Before the announcement was made about the webinar, God did let me know a few times to not be sleeping on my post. I didn’t completely ignore him, however, I was doing just the bare minimum of what he required of me. Delayed obedience/ half doing something is still disobedience to God.
I am so grateful for His correction and a second chance to get it right. I don’t want to be in my Promise Land, acting like the children of Israel. I don’t want to walk into 2023 with baggage carrying over into this new year because I don’t want to listen and obey. God has brought me a long way.
This year is coming to an end, Prayer Closet Warriors; Go to God and ask Him how you need to end this year. There might be some things that you need to address within yourself; areas you thought were healed, but really aren’t. There may be some bad habits you need to drop, and some people you need to let go of. Don’t carry unnecessary baggage into this new year. Go to God and be free!
If you are curious about Destiny, the woman of God I mentioned earlier, here’s her website. https://www.realizingdestiny.com
I thank God for preparing her for such a big assignment in the kingdom; because of her “Yes” to Him, it led me and so many others to our Yes. And shout out to her amazing team!! because baby, THEY PUT IN WORK!
Right now, I’m currently in the book of 1st Thessalonians, and want to leave you with this scripture:
1 Thessalonians 5:12-21
“Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. They work hard among you and give you spiritual guidance. Show them great respect and wholehearted love because of their work. And live peacefully with each other.
Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy. Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who are weak. Be patient with everyone.
See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people.
Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
Do not stifle the Holy Spirit. Do not scoff at prophecies, but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.”
Till next time, Prayer Closet Warriors!
I love you all and pray this blesses you.
Sincerely,
Natasha
