Call on Jesus!

My weekend started out with celebrating my graduation from Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, praising God for an amazing successful
first workshop “she went back to her closet”, to me weeping & screaming on the bathroom floor asking God to help my 2year old son who suddenly stopped responding.
As you get closer to God, please understand there will be something’s that will happen. Difficult, uncomfortable, and sometime scary things that will occur.…Spiritual warfare Is Real! But God will be the shield around you. Psalms 3:3-6
Sunday when I woke up, I felt the needed to be in church. At first I wanted to ignore it because I was very tired from Saturdays event. Everything about the workshop that God had me host was simply amazing. From the women God called to be in the room, the testimony shared, & The way Holyspirt spoke though to me. He’s presence was felt through out the whole building.
I got myself and Jiraiya ready for church. We drove in silence, because for some reason my CarPlay wasn’t connect to my phone.
We arrived at church around 10, a little later than I like to get there but, still on time to hear the word. Pulling into the parking lot Jiraiya said, “we’re here, we’re home”. Now, Jiraiya knows where we live. He is VERY aware of his surroundings. I noticed when he refers to a place being “home” outside of where we actually live, it means he is comfortable in that space. He also calls his daycare home too. The woman who owns the daycare & is a teacher (Mrs.Brown) is literally his second mom, lol🤣
As we walked up to the church, which is held at Franklin Park golf course, JJ waved and greeted the people outside. There was actually one man who didn’t noticed Jiraya saying hi. I think this made JJ feel a way. He didn’t stop saying “hi, hey, hello, good morning” until he got that man’s attention 🤣. It was pretty funny, he just kept getting louder and louder. I believe if the man didn’t speak, JJ was going to walk over to him and say, “don’t you hear me.” Lol.
It was interesting walking into church yesterday. The first thing I noticed was the choir singing without instruments. Usually someone is playing on the keyboard, someone is on the drums, and the people in the choir are singing using a mic. However, that wasn’t the case yesterday.
There was an announcement that the audio wasn’t working, but church would still continue.
I settled in with Jiraya, handing him his iPad, and I grabbed my Bible. Pastor Tracy read from 1 Corinthians 9 verses 1-22, focusing in on verse 22. The subject was, “Anyone, Anyway, Anywhere, Anyhow.” Literally, EVERYTHING she said spoke directly into where I am now & where are God is taking me. It hit my spirit like a ton of bricks. I was so grateful for the confirmation. I won’t get into details about the message. But, If you want to hear it for yourself go over to Facebook and watch the replay. Like & follow Wellspring Global fellowship.
While the message was being delivered I heard the Lord say, “Tasha, join this church. I need you under this leadership, this covering.” He didn’t just say it once he repeated himself. I responded and said, “Ok, Abba.” For those who don’t know, I’ve been looking for a church home. Yes, I am apart of an amazing ministry (Realizing Destiny ministries) but, haven’t been a part of a church home for about two years now. Read my last blog post, “Unchurched to be the Church” and it’ll explain why.
As service was wrapping up, opening the doors of the church was almost missed,(If you don’t know what that means, that’s when people are given the invitation to join the church.) I had Jiraiya in my arms and we walked down the aisle. Along with another woman, we officially became members. Everyone cheered and celebrated.
Let me just point out, JJ absolutely LOVED this moment. He had this BIG smile on his face, started giving out hugs, jumping for joy, and shaking hand. It was great!
Service was over and now it was time to enjoy fellowship. The tables were being set up and the food was being put out. I had to use the restroom and JJ needed to be changed. I left out belongings in the chair because I planned on returning.
Before leaving out the sanctuary I noticed JJ looking really tired. He said “Mommy” twice, held his head low and his tone kinda dropped. It didn’t concern me right away because he woke up at 5 AM, nap time was approaching so it made sense. to me. He held my hand and we walked the bathroom.
There isn’t a changing table in the restroom so I have JJ stand to change him. There was a woman in the next stall. Her and I talked briefly through the divided wall about service being really good. Jiraiya started crying, but it wasn’t dramatic. It was a faint cry, a “ok mommy I’m ready for nap time cry.” He legs started give out and I thought to myself, “you can’t fall asleep this fast baby, you never fall asleep this fast” . I looked up at his face and that’s when my heart felt like it dropped into my stomach.
His eye were rolling to the back of his head, his forehead was sweating, and his lips were blue. I sat and placed him on my lap. I called his name, “Jiraiya, Jiraiya, baby, what’s wrong?!!” he mumbled that first time then I stopped responding. I yelled for the woman to the next stall, “ Please go get help! He’s not responding, something is wrong.”
I checked his pulse, and checked his breathing. He had a pulse and he breathing was short. His whole body was warm. I was trying to remember all my medical training but, I couldn’t really focus because because I was in shock, my baby laid in my lap unresponsive. All I could say in between in screaming and crying was, “Jesus please, Jesus please, save Jiraiya!”
Everyone from the church rushed in. My sister Nakema was already on the phone with 911, Someone crouch down beside JJ and started checking his vitals, another person crawled under the stalls and stood behind me, someone else (a friend) of Jiraiya’s dad asked me for Josh’s number to call him. I heard the other church members praying, “Father we need you, Father touch him, heal him, Jesus,Jesus.”
With everything that was going on, I STILL heard his voice, “Tasha, this is spiritual! Be the praying mother I called you to be.” I started speaking in my heavenly language. And with my new church family surrounding around Jiraiya and I, interceding, calling on Jesus, HE RESPONDED!
Seconds before the ambulance got there, Jiraiya coughed and took a deep breath. I didn’t have the strength to get myself up off the floor after handing my Baby over to the EMT. My sister Nakema reached down and grabbed hold of my arm, I literally felt like I had 10 men holding me up. I didn’t expect it but, when we walked outside and I looked to my left, Josh was right there. I know this man broke every law driving there. But the Lord will turnover rules, laws and regulation for his children!! In the ambulance I held on tight to Jiraiya. He was tried but Very much Alive & Well!
Listen, writing this is so hard right now, but I heard the Lord tell me to do it. In prayer this morning he said this, “Natasha, my warrior, don’t you back down. I have taught you how to fight and you know I fight for you. Be aware of the enemies devices. Worship! continue to worship and praise. Pray over your family. I will protect them, Always!” He also gave me scripture, 2 Corinthians 2:11 “ in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.” Psalm 34:1 “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
This All occurred moments after Jiraiya and I walked down the aisle to join the church. I’m sharing this to remind you to always put on the FULL armor of God. Be intentional about seeking the Lords face, Know his voice for YOURSELF! I said this before, and I will keep repeating it. I don’t know where I would be without him.
This doesn’t take away from ANYTHING God is doing & what he has done. The enemy gets NO victory’s here!
To our new church family, Wellspring Global Fellowship, we thank you all. Reflecting on this, I was reminded of a what Prophetess Tiphani Montgomery preached in the beginning of the year. She said, “God is calling the body of Christ together to be the First Responders.” Yesterday that’s exactly what you exemplified.
To God be the Glory! I will continue to Praise!
Jeremiah 1:19 “They will fight against you but they shall not prevail against you for I am with you,” says the Lord “to deliver you.”
Sincerely,
Natasha
